easITrader is the product of 100 man-years experience in databases and computing at Dataworks and is installed at a leading iron mongers in the North West. There are branches at Bolton and Wigan, all of whom are connected to the main system. Being local means that things happen quickly without expensive and troublesome journeys needing to be undertaken.
Proven to meet needs of wholesaler/stockist community
The first easITrader installation was made in March 1993. easITrader has been developed continuously since then culminating in the delivery of the Internet trading module in July 2005 and more lately in January 2008..
One step over the threshold clearly demonstrates that the company runs its business on the Dataworks software. Sales staff at the trade counter deal with both personal visitors and phone enquiries with consummate ease. Orders are dealt with quietly and efficiently.
Flexible and responsive
No two companies are exactly alike even within the same industry and it is an implicit part of the delivery of easITrader that individual requirements and preferences are catered for where it is sensible to do so. This is especially true of items like discount calculation and web design. easITrader does NOT put you in a strait-jacket unlike traditional computer packages.

Excellent return on investment
easITrader (depending on the number of modules installed) represents less than the approximate on-cost of a single member of staff. However easITrader works 24 hours a day 7 days a week and only requires a known investment over a 3 or 5 year period. EasITrader does NOT require the payment of salaries and accompanying costs like pensions and National Insurance all of which escalate from year to year.
So either existing staff can be redeployed to more useful tasks, or not replaced when they leave, or not taken on even when the business is expanding.

The Dataworks team are experienced practitioners with a proven track record. easITrader can be deployed as a service on your current Microsoft server or on an entirely new network by your choice. Programs have been designed to be run with minimal training both at the application level and the utility level (eg backups).
